This is our list of qualified seamstress’ in Tacoma and the greater Puget Sound region.  They are experienced in bridal alterations and will gladly meet with our customers for consultations before beginning any work.  Since each seamstress is independent from us, we do not charge any additional fees for your alterations.  This keeps alteration prices more reasonable than salons with an in-house seamstress and allows you to get the value and quality service you deserve.  The Wedding Bell makes no guarantees on the work of independent seamstresses and provides referrals as a service for our clients only.  Please keep in mind that most gowns will need some alterations to fit properly.  Please let us know if your experience is anything less than exceptional as we routinely update our list based on comments.

Alterations Tips

 

Budget for alterations costs.  On average, bridal gown alterations cost $200-$300.  Schedule your appointment for alterations 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding.  Bring your shoes, petticoat, bustier, and all other undergarments to all of your fittings.
