Do you have any advice to help me prepare for my appointment? It is very helpful if you bring pictures of what you have in mind or be able to describe what you are looking for. Be prepared to keep an open mind as you might be surprised at what a certain style will look like on your body. Our consultants are specially trained to help you take your vision for your wedding to reality!
What is your "Lowest Price Guarantee?" Our "Lowest Price Guarantee" is simple. If you find the exact same dress from the same manufacturer on another website, all you have to do is provide us with a link to where you saw the style for less. Here are the only qualifications: 1.) You must provide the URL address that links to the exact style on another website. Include this URL during the checkout phase (if applicable), and we will adjust the price before charging your credit card., 2.) This offer excludes items that are represented as "clearance" or "sale" merchandise and must be of like condition to the merchandise you are purchasing., 3.) Items must be on the website of an authorized retailer for that particular designer., 4.) Auction websites, such as eBay, are excluded from this offer. We reserve the right to exclude this offer if it can be determined that the price on the other website is an error. We are not responsible for obvious errors or "typos" on our website or any other website., 5.) We do not match Internet pricing in our full service salon, but we do have additional benefits for in-store purchases., and 6.) All contract terms on orders already placed remain in effect.
Are alterations included? No, alterations are an extra charge. The Wedding Bell does offer in-house alterations.
Do I have to make an appointment? Appointments are highly recommended as it is very busy in the salon. If you do not make an appointment, we may have to schedule you to come back at a different time. Can you special order my dress? Yes. We can special order any of our gowns, except for our "one-of-a-kind" gowns.
Do you rent bridal gowns or bridesmaid gowns? No. We do not rent gowns.
If my wedding or event is cancelled, can I get my money back? Sorry! There are no refunds or store credit. All sales are final.
Do you sell your stock gowns off the rack? Yes, we sell our gowns off the rack.
Do you buy used gowns or consign them? No, we do not purchase used gowns nor do we consign. We recommend listing them on Ebay or Craigslist.
How long does it take to receive my dress? Bridal gowns can take up to 16 weeks. Bridesmaid gowns can take up to 12 weeks. We do have certain styles available for one or four week shipping. Shipping times vary by manufacturer, so speak with our staff to ensure that your gowns are ordered with enough time to complete alterations.
How do I order a gown for an out of town bridesmaid? We routinely accept orders for out of town bridesmaids. They need to be professionally measured and call in their measurements and pay their deposit. We will fax or email them some paperwork to sign off on, then we process all orders at the same time to ensure they are cut from the same dye lot.
Are the gowns custom-made? Measurements are taken to determine size recommended by manufacturer size chart. Dresses and gowns are not custom made to measurements. It is ordered according to where your measurements fall. The Wedding Bell is not liable for measurements done elsewhere. Additional charges may be incurred on gowns size 18 and larger.
How much of a deposit is required before ordering my dress? A 60% deposit is required unless a layaway plan is in place and is non-refundable. If applicable, the balance will be due within 30 days of arrival and is non-refundable.
Are the gown colors guaranteed to match the color swatch? Color swatches are approximate, and dye lots cannot be guaranteed to match a swatch. In addition, dresses ordered in sizes 16 and larger or with extra length cannot be guaranteed to be of the same dye lot as regular sizes.
Once my gown arrives, when should I come in? Please come in as soon as possible to examine your gown and try it on. You will need to pay the final balance due within 30 days.
What do I do with my gown after the wedding? We offer gown preservation services.
Do you offer price matching if I find the gown cheaper? Yes, we will match prices as long as it is from an authorized retailer and is the same item (i.e. not a floor sample vs. a special order gown). We require the price and name of the store for verification prior to matching the price. Please be aware that some Internet sites do not offer high quality gowns that would meet our requirements for sale, and, in fact, might be returns from retail stores later sold at Internet clearance sites. Price matching will only be done at time of purchase.
Why isn't it safe to purchase on the Internet? We do not recommend purchasing via the Internet. There is a risk of receiving a copy when placing an order via the Internet. A copy is inferior in construction, quality, and fit when compared to our designers' gowns. We have received many calls from frantic brides asking us for our help because a gown they ordered over the Internet was not what they expected. Buying gowns on the Internet for a discount is a gamble, and, in many cases, more costly than purchasing from a full service bridal salon. Purchasing from an unauthorized retailer on the Internet presents many problems including the following reported issues: receiving the incorrect size gown, receiving the incorrect color gown, no support from the website retailer you purchased the gown through, a gown being damaged in the shipping process with no recourse on your part, losing money to any website that has gone out of business, etc.
